In that time we have refined our services to insure the best quality, and the least worry for you. We have assembled this packet to outline your various options.

Party Areas Available

There are three different areas that we have available for private parties, depending on the number of people in your group.  The first is the Crest Room. This is a private room that can accommodate up to forty people.  In this room, the tables are rectangular with white table clothes and black cloth napkins.  Tables can be arranged in one long table, four tables of 10, a “T” shape or one square table depending upon the number guests.

The other two areas are in a single Back Room, divided by a curtain.  One side can accommodate up to 50 people and will have round tables with white table cloths and black napkins.  These tables can seat 8-10 guests comfortably.  The other side can accommodate up to 65 people.  This side will have rectangular tables with white table cloths and black cloth napkins and will seat up to 8-12 guest comfortably.  In some occasions, it is possible to use round tables on this side as well. 

In each of the areas listed above, the tables will have centerpieces of short votive candles in cut glass shades.  We have other decorating styles at an additional cost starting at $10.00 per table.  We would be more than happy to discuss those options with you.  You may decorate the tables yourself, or in addition to our centerpieces. Long streamers, shorter balloon bouquets, votive, or floating candles on mirrors are very popular. We ask that you keep all decorations “G” rated and not use glitter or confetti. Cakes or other desserts may be brought in at the following charges: 1-15 guests -$5.00, 16-30 guests - $10.00, 30-50 guests- $20.00 and 50+ guests - $50.00.  These charges include utensils and cutting service.

When reserving your party, you may be subject to the following charges: $100.00 party deposit to reserve the room for 2 ½ hours.  Arranged deposits will be paid in cash or charged to a major credit card.   The reservations will not be made until payment is received. Deposits will be applied as a credit to your bill on the day of the party provided that the number of guests that attending is within 5 people of which the reservation has been made.  You have until 2 days prior to the reservation to let us know the final head count.  In the event of cancellation, deposits are fully refundable if the cancellation occurs within 7 days prior to the reservation.  Beyond 7 days, there is a 10% penalty of the deposit per day.  After 24 hours, the deposit if forfeited to the Waterloo Brown Bottle.

When reserving a private room, you will be obligated to a minimum food and drink purchase of $300.00 for the Crest Room and $1500.00 for the complete Back Room.   We allow the first 2 ½ hours from the reserved time at no charge.  After 2 ½ hours, additional time may incur a $30.00 per half hour seating charge.  This will not apply to “active” checks.

Reservations for groups under 20 guests may order of our regular Brown Bottle Menu, with prices ranging from $13.95 to $28.00, the Brown Bottle Party Menu, which is printed on heavy lilac paper and includes 19 of our most popular items, including Prime Rib, with the prices ranging from $13.95 to $17.00. Groups fewer than 20 may also choose to do a personalized menu.  Groups from 20-50 guests may order of our Brown Bottle Party Menu or choose to do a personalized menu.  Groups over 50 will be required to do a personalized menu.  Groups over 50 will choose a personalized menu.

The personalized menu is a popular choice for rehearsal dinners and other family celebrations such as birthdays and anniversaries.  There are two different styles to choose from, both offering the opportunity to personalize the menu and choose your own entrees off a selected list.  The first is the tent style menu, which is folded into a tent and stands on the table. Your names, or message, and the date chosen would be on the front, with your entree choices on the center page. With this style menu you may have a maximum of four entree choices.  The other style is an open page menu.  It has your names, or message and the date chosen on the top with your entrée choices listed below. This style has a maximum of six entrees, and is laid flat on the table.  For either of these two styles, the prices range from $13.95 to $19.95 per entree, and may be selected from the Menu Choices Sheet.

Children 12 and under may order from our Children's Menu with pricing at $5.00. All pricing is subject to change.   Beverages, 7% sales tax, and gratuities are additional.  All groups over 8 guests will have a 17% gratuity included for one check and a 20% gratuity for separate checks.  We reserve the right to deny separated checks on occasion.

The most popular bar choices for parties are an Open bar, where all alcoholic beverages are on your bill or the Cash bar, where individuals are responsible for purchasing their own alcoholic beverages.  You can also purchase a specific number of drink tickets per individual or provide only beer and wine, with all other alcoholic beverages on a cash bar basis.  Pitchers of domestic draught beer average $9.50 and bottles of wine average $25.00.

We ask that the menu, and the bar option chosen all be finalized 1 week prior to your reservation and a final head count finalized 2 days prior to your reservation.
